11/09: 3 things worth sharing.
1. This brilliantly funny mime of the Song "Torn". I found it absolutely side-splitting.
2. Britain for Americans website - explaining the English idiosyncrosies and stuff. Made me chuckle.
3. MIT Open Courseware - free, open publication of MIT Course Materials. All their lecture notes and stuff are on .pdf format. Wish they had recorded lectures on mp3 so I can listen on my sexy NW-HD5. But this is just as brilliant.

Today's the last day of Magic training. I will return on the 6.15 flight out of Schiphol airport into Luton tonight. Will be glad to get home, although the Dutch do really good coffee (with cream, not sissy milk) - I have doubts about the food.
But then again, I've been eating at the corporate lunchroom (canteen food, you get the drift). Hotel food not too bad, although I've been a bit frugal this week and brought a loaf of sunny, some humous and wafer thin ham. YUM! It's just simply yummy. I've stopped having heavy breakfast in the morning too (you can't eat eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, croissant every morning).
Just had some cereal and fruit the last week, very light lunch and sandwichy dinner. I bet I've lost weight. Well, I hope I've lost weight.
But next Monday I go to client site ON MY OWN! Richard's been called away on a more urgent booking, and I get to firewalk by myself. hmm.
Though the two week training has been good, I don't know if I've the confidence to do it solo yet, but I guess it will be a good learning experience. There goes my weekend, had planned to laze about and play Warcraft but guess I will be preparing for the project. It'll be ok - will be going back home to Malaysia in two weeks tho
.
FACE STUFFING TIME! In the meantime, I don't mind a lil bit of stress.
Can't wait to get back to London tho, I'm tired of Radisson SAS hotel, though it's pretty good, it's not home. I guess I know how the New Orleans refugees feel.
But unlike them, I've got a home to go home to. And that's a lot to be grateful for.
